About me

Hi, it’s me Chris! In February 2018, I moved from London to Annecy in France and found out that there was a lot of demand to learn and speak English. What started out as a way to help a friend improve their speaking grew into a real passion. I found it so rewarding to see that person improve and become more confident with the language. I now also speak French very well and so I know what it’s like to learn a new language. Now, I would like to help you too!

My style of teaching is conversational as I believe that the ultimate goal is to gain more confidence when having conversations, whether it’s communicating while travelling, at work or hanging out with friends and family. I believe that learning a language should be fun and interesting to be effective and this is what I can offer in order to help you achieve your goals. I offer classes one to one, in small groups or online. My lessons will help you to improve your grammar, pronunciation as well as help you to gain confidence in communicating, whether it's individually or as part of a group.

There are many benefits to learning English online with the main one being able to learn from the comfort of your own home. It also gives you more flexibility to work around your schedule and you also have the option of recording your lessons so that you can look back on them to see what you did well and what you can improve on. It's also more eco-friendly as you can share files and do online activities.

Fortunately for you, i have the experience to help you achieve your goals so that you can communicate clearer and with more confidence in a business setting.

Whether you're moving country or you are doing this exam for professional or personal reasons, I can help you with the skills and grammar you need to ace the test! This includes skim-reading, pronunciation work, listening for gist or writing with the correct structures and punctuation. With mine and your hard work, you will go into the exam confident of gaining a good score.
